  •  THE BEACH>>>>FL 043The Peir was a well trafficed area. It had a restrooms, a short order grill, and a blanket fishing license for all. It was really the only area busy on the beach.

The view from the condo>>>>>>>>>>>>FL 003

FL 007<<<<My find at yes, Goodwill. We were over wieght with our bage going to FL. Jim found a drees pair of shoes at the outlet the first night so we needed another bag. And it was half off day at the Goodwill.I think it was a great purchase thus far.

    We went mini-putting which I won!!!FL 027

FL was very relaxing and restful. I enjoyed the beach the quiet and sun! Jim was very antsy though. We had a nice time and are thankful for the chance to rest. The boys were good EVERYONE says. But whatever happened for REAL is not being disclosed. Right now WE all have colds. SO we are ALL cranky, stuffy and generally yucky!

In other news..... we have begun selling our baby stuff. This week the traveling system, pack-n-play, few baby toys and one bag of blanket/sheets have sold. I am hoping to empty our crawl by this fall. My friend is retiring from teaching also so we are having a teacher garage sale also. I am very motivated to minimalize ALL storage. After the second time cleaning sewege off and around stuff. We are making  plans to move the boys into bunks and a new room. I am hoping the money from selling the baby stuff will more than cover the expense. We will see, soon. That's it for now.

  • Continuing the circus dream...

Yesterday I was so done with the boys I actually leet them play outside! When Jim got home He was not happy with my decision. But Luke loved it! He made a 'snow castle' with his beach buckets. Sholved a path to his slide in the grass. And made several snow angels, and tunnels. He loves outside no matter what the wind chill.  I did drag him in after an hour. Ben only made it 15 min. He is not for the COLD. He does not keep warm at all, where Luke just generates heat.

I did enjoy having church cancelled last night and ladies meeting tonight. The extra time of course flies by, but it does relieve some stress to get the extra little things done like haircuts. Well, that is where I am. Luandry and packing for FL. I hope it is warm.

Luke has requested new zipper PJs. So I actually have them cut out and sewed together I need a long zipper to finish. Hopefully I can get one today.

  • Today part 2...

Today I will run away and join the circus. I think the choas is more organized and the noise more controlled. It has been a toddler day!! I think it is the full impact of really not 'physically wearing out'.  I even had a good day planned that blew up in my face (actually my house). These days push me to an edge that is hard for me to recover from. I am going to bed. Tomorrow awaits with a fresh start. And today's to do list added to tomorrow's.

    Program 001 Our FIRST Snowman.

This was Luke & Ben's snowman they made on December 1st. It was Luke's idea, and his mission. They made one in the front yard as well that Luke did majority of the work on. This one had a quick and painful destruction. The very next day the boys pushed over Frosty and kicked him apart. It was that feeling of wow are they ever boys!! Luke has asked SEVERAL times to make more snowmen (even with out snow) so tomorrow we are doing just that!

I found out last night that one of my friends from MOPS lives two blocks down on the same street!! WE were very excited in realizing this. AND Ben loves her son, David! So maybe coffee tomorrow will be in order

  • Well, Christmas was just a time of going... Jim and I are getting ready to go to FL next Friday to celebrate my 30th birthday. I am looking forward to being gone for a couple of days to unwind. I do know that it will be crazy this week getting stuff ready and then when I return to yet again readjust the kids.

I have done a little reflecting over the past week about who and what I was as a mom and who and what I want to be as a mom. I am learning so much to let go of the control issues. Not that the boys can be unruly and disobedient. But they will not be the button pushers. I want them to grow into men that can be used of God. It is such a hard journey as a mother, and truly a calling. I have been fortunate enough to join a wonderful MOPS group with women who desire the same goals for their chiildren and are at the same point in life. I am very thankful for this outlet.

Luke was referred for speech from Ben's speech therapist. Luke did not qualify for speech therapy but both boys are able to attend the school districts 'baby talk' program. Speech emphasis through books, games and activities. So we will be busy. I am enjoying this more now- the business with them.

Little feet are fast approaching....till later

Jonathan Neff got a brand new 2007 motor cycle instead of a car for transportation--don't ask me how he was able to afford that while still in college...

We ended up somewhere between 1-2 feet depending what news cast was on. Jim was able to push the door open and fall into a 3-4 foot drift on the side of the house. We have been staying in and having lots of soup! Mmm... stay warm

Do you never see Cheryl any more? Is Mike usually the only one who comes down?

Hi Hannah! I'm at work now, so I won't go into great detail what is going on...I will have to save that for later. Dan started a new job last with. He now works with Regis Corporation (the largest salon company in the world) as a tax accountant...so far so good. This Xanga site must be t
